Hopefully, I'll get a map made soon for this. Basically:

FreeBakersfield, Enosburg Falls, Waterville, Jeffersonville, Fletcher, Fairfield and East Fairfield are close and free.
$5St Albans, Cambrige, Swanton and Johnson being more than 15 minutes.
$10Burlington, Alburg, Grand Isles, Waterbury are more than 30 min and less than an hour.
If you're more than an hour from Bakersfield, we can still work something out, call me. Standard rates can be calculated at $0.375 per mile, each way.

As mentioned on the home page, the first half hour is free for new accounts. If I can walk in, see a computer for the first time and fix it in under 30 minutes, it wasn’t much of a problem.

Except in these first visit cases, the first fraction of an hour will be counted as a full hour with time thereafter rounded to the nearest half-hour.

If parts are required, I can recommend particular models and sources and do the installation and configuration, but I prefer to have you buy them so that the warranty, rebate and registration is in your name.
In some cases, I may have a spare part that can be left as a loaner, if it's a part that isn’t available locally, and we have to wait for shipping.

I model my prices against the good, local and honest mechanic down the road. The legal stance is the standard, “Prices are subject to change without notice.” But I try to keep this up-to-date.

Speaking of legal, it is understood that if the computer or some functionality is broken before I look at it, I will not be responsible for this damage or lost data. On the other hand, if I can’t fix it and can't suggest a work-around solution, there will be no repair charges.
